Burn Unit

The phrase I hear all the time..."Wow it must be so difficult working in a burn unit!" And now that I am a mom it really is! Pre-mommy days, yeah it was hard to see kids in pain but I could always just move through it and do what needed to be done. Since having Sebastian I ache for these kids, my eyes well up; it takes all my energy not to break down. I'm sure as time goes on I will get the thick skin I used to have, but for now I feel the burn, so-to-speak.
